Professional Support for Your Health and Wellbeing

Counselling is a talking therapy that provides a safe and confidential space to explore thoughts, emotions and life challenges. Working with a qualified counsellor can help you develop greater self-awareness, improve coping strategies and gain new perspectives on difficult situations.

Life can be challenging at times, and seeking support is a positive step towards improving your emotional wellbeing. Counselling provides a confidential and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences with a qualified professional.

Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, bereavement or simply feeling overwhelmed, counselling can help you gain greater understanding, develop effective coping strategies and move forward with confidence.

Based within our welcoming Whitchurch clinic, our independent counsellors offer a compassionate, non-judgemental approach tailored to your individual needs. Whatever has brought you to counselling, support is available to help you navigate life's challenges and work towards positive change.

Common Reasons People Seek Counselling:

Meet Our Practitioner

Lynne Hocking

? Quals

"Hi I am Lynne. I am a mum, grandmother, social worker and more recently a counsellor. If you’re here, you are maybe feeling tired from carrying so much on your own for such a long time.

Whatever has brought you to this place in your life, you deserve a gentle space and the time, where your story can be heard, and where you can set down the weight you’ve been carrying, even if it is just for a moment.

I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can slow down, reflect, and feel heard without judgement. I believe that healing begins through genuine connection and that each person’s story deserves to be met with care, curiosity, and respect.

Let us find some time to talk. Please feel free to send me a message. I would love to hear more about what you are going through. Finding the right fit with a therapist is important and if it turns out it’s not me, I'm here to help you find someone who is.

I am grateful you are here. Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up."
